Chairman
Mr. Akinretoye was an astute career banker and highly experienced money market dealer. With 34 years of cumulative banking experience, most of which was at the top management level, he retired as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Discounts Limited.
An active and well-exposed player in the money and capital markets, he was a two-term President of the Money Market Association of Nigeria (MMAN), now known as the Financial Market Dealers Association of Nigeria (FMDA). He is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Fellow of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Administrators, and a Fellow of the Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria.
Mr. Akinretoye’s work experience covered all aspects and levels of commercial banking, with vast exposure to corporate banking, advances and credit, money and capital market operations, and management.
As an investment executive at Union Trustees Limited, he was a pioneer in establishing the Association of Pension Fund and Investment Managers of Nigeria (APFIM). He served as Assistant Chief Accountant and later as Treasurer of Union Bank of Nigeria before joining Consolidated Discounts Limited as the pioneer Chief Dealer. He rose through the general management ranks to become the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, a position he held until his retirement.
A product of the renowned Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., where he obtained both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting, he also holds an MBA in Finance from Southeastern University, Washington, D.C., USA.
Throughout his career, Mr. Akinretoye benefited from extensive exposure to top-level management courses at leading global institutions, including Harvard University, Columbia University, New York, Euromoney, Wits Business School of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, Lagos Business School of Pan-Atlantic University, among others.
Managing Director / CEO
Mr. Oluropo Samuel Olubode Dada is a seasoned finance and investment professional with over three decades of experience spanning the Nigerian capital market, banking, and corporate governance. He served as the 13th President and Chairman of Council of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), the apex professional body for securities and investment practitioners in Nigeria.
During his tenure as President, Mr. Dada’s leadership in the Institute focused on strengthening institutional capacity, deepening member engagement, and positioning CIS as a catalyst for capital market development, investor protection, and financial inclusion. He represented the Institute on national and international platforms, championing initiatives that enhanced market depth, financial literacy, and the adoption of global best practices.
Before he was elected President, he served the Institute in various leadership roles, including 1st Vice President from 2022 to 2024 and 2nd Vice President from 2020 to 2022. During this period, he chaired the Education Committee, spearheading reforms of the certification programmes to align with international standards, and led the Risk Management and Programme Committees, which delivered high-impact professional development, conferences, and governance reforms.
Beyond the Institute, Mr. Dada is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Network Capital Limited, a dealing member firm of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX). He has also held top executive positions in Pyramid Securities Limited and Marina Securities Limited, now part of Coronation Securities Limited, and served in senior capacities in Access Bank Plc, Abacus Merchant Bank, and the Nigerian Agricultural Credit and Development Bank. His career reflects deep expertise in stockbroking, portfolio management, investment advisory, credit analysis, and risk management.
An alumnus of the University of Lagos, Mr. Dada holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration, an MBA in Financial Management from Ekiti State University, and an M.Sc. in Corporate Governance from Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom. He has also undertaken extensive management training locally and internationally, including at the New York Institute of Finance, Gordon Institute of Business Science, South Africa, Leeds Business School, United Kingdom, and Lagos Business School.
He is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, United Kingdom, an Associate of the Chartered Pension Institute of Nigeria (ACPI), and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (M-CIoD) and the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria.
In recognition of his professional excellence and contributions to the development of Nigeria’s financial markets, Mr. Dada and the institutions he has led have received numerous awards, including the NGX Award for Most Compliant Stockbroking Firm in 2024 and 2025 and the CIS Presidential Awards in 2021, 2022, and 2023, among others.
Widely respected for his integrity, professionalism, and visionary leadership, Mr. Oluropo Dada continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Nigeria’s capital market and inspiring the next generation of investment professionals.
Non-Executive Director
Dr. (Mrs.) Ayodeji is a medical practitioner. She began her career as a banker before transitioning into the medical sciences. She is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., where she earned a B.Sc. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She also attended Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, where she earned a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, with a concentration in Bioinformatics. She obtained her medical degree from Avalon University School of Medicine and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at Walden University.
Dr. Ayodeji’s vast exposure cuts across banking and the sciences. She began her banking career with Citizens Bank, Washington, D.C., and later worked with Crestar Bank, Maryland, USA. Since changing her career focus, she has served as Project Officer/Project Manager, with the rank of Lieutenant, in the United States Public Health Service (USPHS), in various capacities at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), Washington, D.C., where she was involved in the acquisition of medical countermeasures.
Prior to that, she was a Regulatory Research Officer at the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Laurel, Maryland, as well as a Research Associate at The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR), Rockville, Maryland, USA. Dr. Ayodeji has several abstracts, publications, and presentations to her credit.
Non-Executive Director
Mrs. Akinretoye had a distinguished career in the Federal Civil Service until her retirement as Chief Systems/Programs Analyst at the National Bureau of Statistics, Abuja, Nigeria.
She is a product of the University of the District of Columbia, Washington, D.C., where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Through her exposure and participation at senior levels in the execution of several key projects by the National Bureau of Statistics, in cooperation with the European Union (EU) and the World Bank, she benefited immensely from diverse courses relevant to the dynamic information technology industry.
Since her voluntary retirement, Mrs. Akinretoye has focused her business pursuits on information technology, textiles, cosmetics, and biofuels.
Independent Director
He worked in all areas of banking for a period spanning about 30 years, covering retail banking, commercial banking, operations, and merchant banking.
Some of the strategic departments he headed included International Operations, Credit Compliance, Credit Appraisal, Commercial Treasury, Consumer Banking, Debt Recovery, Commercial and Retail Banking, and the Inspectorate Department, where he served as Chief Inspector. He also served as Regional Business Executive in charge of the Federal Capital Territory and the North Central Region, and later as Regional Director for the Federal Capital Territory.
He was Group Head, Banking Operations, at Intercontinental Bank Plc, where he oversaw e-banking operations, branch banking, and domestic and international banking operations. Other banks he worked with included Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Devcom Merchant Bank Limited, Equitorial Trust Bank Limited, and Gateway Bank Plc.
In the media sector, he was the pioneer Chief Finance Officer/Assistant General Manager of DAAR Communications Plc, operators of Raypower FM and AIT. He had the privilege of setting up the accounting system and credit control function, installing the DacEasy accounting software, and managing the loan consortium syndicate, among other financial functions, while reporting to the Board of Directors.
In capital market operations, he worked with Kinley Securities Limited, a member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, as Head of the Corporate Finance Department. He had the privilege of setting up the Corporate Finance Department, developing the clientele base, and supervising the company’s marketing and sales force.
Mr. Oludare is the Chief Financial Officer of the company. He has over ten years’ work experience in the financial industry.
He began his career in 2008 with Clearview Investments Company Limited, a member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, where he served as an Account Executive until his resignation in 2016. He later worked with GTI Securities Limited as Manager, Accounts and Treasury. He also worked with FBC Trust & Securities Limited as Assistant General Manager, Finance, before joining Network Capital Limited as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Oludare holds a B.Sc. degree in Accounting and an M.Sc. degree in Finance from the University of Lagos. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is also an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
Mr. Olympio holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from the Federal Polytechnic, Offa.
Prior to joining Network Capital Limited as Head of Information Technology, he served as Systems Data Administrator at Nigerian Telecommunications Limited and Head of IT Support at Global Seam Technology Limited.
Mrs. Ijeoma Onwu is the President of the Nigerian National Advisory Council of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Chartered Stockbroker, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor, with vast experience in audit and advisory services. She has over 20 years’ working experience, including more than 15 years in leadership positions.
Before joining Network Capital Limited as General Manager/Chief Dealer, Mrs. Onwu graduated from the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, where she obtained a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. She later earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
She is an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Exchange Limited, formerly The Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Prior to joining Network Capital Limited, Mrs. Onwu worked with Akintola Williams Deloitte as an Auditor and rose to the position of Audit Partner before leaving Deloitte. She is also passionate about mentoring and empowering young women to aspire to leadership positions and take control of their lives.
