CBN mops up N6.88 trillion in two weeks to counter massive liquidity surge

To manage expected N10.90 trillion inflow into the banking system in June, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) absorbed approximately N6.88 trillion from the financial system through Open Market Operations (OMO) auctions in the first two weeks of the month.
